A co-working suite to
support you and
your business
Transforming the office experience
Working from home during the pandemic was at first blissful; it was quiet, I had my comfortable furniture and didn’t have the usual distractions of sound-transfer and harsh florescent lighting so common in offices. Yet as time went on, I found the bleed of work into home and vise-versa created difficulty to focus as well as turn-off at the end of the day.
I noticed that working from home brought with it an isolation. Even as the world re-opened, working from home meant missing those pleasant, incidental moments of interactions with co-workers. When the option to return to the office arose, I gladly took it as I was looking forward to having the separation between home and work as well as seeing people outside of my family and clients.
It was during this time of transitioning back to working in an office and to in-person meetings, that the idea of Banksia Bloom Professional Suites was born. I dreamt of an office space that had the peacefulness and privacy I experienced at home, with the office suite experience of technology, waiting area and casual networking of being in a co-working space.
A modern approach
Our goal has been to create a co-working office that provides the best of both worlds. Comfortable ambience, private meeting rooms and the sound-proofing to be yourself.
High-speed NBN, ethernet, power-surge protection ensure you connect, and stay connected.
With insulated walls, solid doors, sound-reducing ceiling tiles and strategically placed sound-speakers, you can be sure that your conversations are private.
Our suite has ample off-street parking, an access ramp and lift. Our spacious rooms allow for comfortable furniture, while the peaceful ambience supports both the wellbeing of you and your clients.
Local gyms, parks and walking-paths all located nearby ensure you can have a fitness or fresh-air break during your day. With a shower conveniently located inside the suite, you can freshen up before your next meeting.
Special touches such as dimmable lights, a herbal tea station and gentle aromas create a co-working space that doesn’t overload the nervous system.
Carrie Hatchett
Founder and Manager
I have dedicated my career to supporting others to have healthy and connected lives and relationships. With 20 years of professional experience in the community service and therapy industry, I launched my private counselling practice in 2021.
As my counselling business grew, the next step to expand generally meant to employ or contract other therapists. However, this approach felt contrary to what I loved about running my own business; the autonomy, owning my professional identity and the freedom to schedule my time how it suited me. My dream was to support others in living in their own autonomy and identity. This lead me to purchase a business premise that would be the ideal location for myself and others to autonomously work in our businesses, service our clientele and have a beautiful and convenient environment to do so. My dream was to create an office space that was amazing to work in, for both the business owner and their ‘people’.
I had a very specific shopping list when looking for this business premise and I am so pleased to say that Banksia Bloom Professional Suite ticked all and more.
My shopping list must-have’s:
Great parking
Accessibility - elevator, ramps
Exceptional measures for minimising sound transfer
Comfortable waiting area
In-suite toilet and kitchen (we have 2 toilets and a shower!)
Convenient yet discrete location
Centralised on the Sunshine Coast - ideally Buderim
Access to the outdoors - whether by windows, gardens or nearby parks
My business flourished even more with the move into Banksia Bloom Professional Suites. Not only do I feel focused and relaxed as I step through the doors, my clients do also, often saying how peaceful it is.
